About Filled PTFE
Tachnical Data
Glass Fiber -GF
In order to increasing compressive strength, rigidity and wear; reduces creep and cold flow; minimal effect on chemical and electrical properties.Filler Range: 5% to 40%
Carbon Fiber-CF
Advantage: Increases compressive strength, hardness, wear, and load properties; good chemical resistance; various types and amounts of carbon can be added to alter conductivity.Filler Range: 10% to 35%.
Graphite - GR
Graphite offers improved chemical resistance to corrosive environments and exhibits good initial wear and rubbing/sliding characteristics in dry and water applications. Graphite is commonly blended with carbon.Filler Range: 5% to 15%.
MoS2 Filler / Molybdenum Disulfide
Frequently in combination with others to increase surface hardness, stiffness, and to reduce the starting coefficient of friction and steady-state wear. Its effect on electrical and chemical properties is negligible.Filler Range :5% to 15%.
